General terms and information

Delivery and returns

  • We generally aim to process orders the same or next working day and usually in a maximum of 3 working days.
  • As we are a small family business we close over our holidays and a notice on our web site will indicate the day we re-commence processing orders.
  • For items below £20, but weighing below 2kg, we normally send Royal Mail 1st
  • Items above £20, but weighing below 2kg, we send Royal Mail 1st class tracked and signed
  • For items above 2kg we use Hermes carrier (or other reputable carrier where more convenient)
  • Except for ribbon and bows which have free postage, we generally charge £4.50 for postage.
  • If you buy more than one product then there is no additional charge for P&P
  • For items where postage cost is significantly lower or higher we adjust the product price to recognise this
  • We welcome international orders but please contact us before purchasing to obtain the postage costs.
  • Please telephone or email if you have any concerns about deliveries to your address (eg unsuitable dates or preferred location).
  • If you are not happy in any way with your order then please advise us and, as agreed with us, you can return, ensuring it is in unused and in perfect condition, with proof of postage or a tracked delivery. We will refund the price of the item if returned in original packaging within 14 days of receipt.
  • If the item received is considered incorrect or is received damaged then please advise us within 48 hours of receipt (photos are very helpful) and we will refund the price of the goods and return postage where the return has been agreed.

Care of your goods

  • Please use our goods responsibly ensuring they are safe and unlikely to be knocked over or damaged. All candles must be used responsibly.

Ceramics products, Artificial Flower Arrangements and Wedding Bouquets

  • Occasionally there may be small blemishes as some products we sell are handmade however this should not detract from the item.
  • The Artificial Silk Flower Arrangements are nearly all handmade and therefore no two arrangements will be exactly alike. Flower placement depends on the arrangement and it would be impossible to replicate exactly the flower position, however if we are selling more than one item of the same we try and be as accurate as possible.
  • All our flowers are artificial, therefore they all have wired stems. We try to ensure there is no exposed wire on all our work but occasionally this is difficult to adhere to. Some wedding bouquets may have exposed wire and care by the bride must be taken to ensure this does not touch the bridal dress or other clothing. We take no responsibility for ‘snagged’ or ‘pulled’ clothing.
