This Bust of  Florence Nightingale is delightful.
Famous for being the ‘Lady with the Lamp’ who organised the nursing of sick and wounded soldiers during the Crimean War, Florence Nightingale’s far-sighted ideas and reforms have influenced modern healthcare. Florence saw the need for midwifery nurses and established a School of Midwifery nursing at King’s College Hospital.There are a series of objects around the base illustrating things  associated with Florence Nightingale.

The etch around the base reads: ‘Nursing is an art’
